The light itself is relatively dim, but it lights up properly enough.If you're on a budget, this is a pretty okay lamp. I am thoroughly impressed with the craftsmanship.

This lamp is a perfect match for my mid-century style decor! Not only does it provide great ambient light, but it's also highly functional. Surprisingly, it's heavier and sturdier than I expected, which is a plus. Assembly was a breeze, and I appreciate that the wiring comes out at the bottom, keeping it discreet. Overall, a fantastic find! I am thoroughly impressed with the craftsmanship.

Used it over a stair landing. Looks great from the top of the stairs. The silhouette is not as pretty from the bottom looking up (just kind of a bowl), but I still like it.

Chandelier style lamp, looks great, has a dimmer switch. It's light enough so the rope lamp cord that comes with it is enough. No chain required.
